According to Fox, Lou Piniella did apologize to Milton today for using a “four letter word” in their heated argument yesterday.
There are plenty of four letter words that Lou could have used including punk, hack, dumb, goof, tard, and the most insulting of all, Gord.
Gordon claims that a “source” (Milton Bradley) said that Lou said, “You’re not a ballplayer, you’re a piece of shit.”
That probably is something that if said, should at the very least draw an apology.
So, I apologize for doubting the veracity of Gordon’s reporting of the insult in question.
Gordon, I apologize. I’m sorry you’re such a douche.
