For three years now Desipio has proudly had a banner on the homepage with our good friend Paul Sullivan on it, with a link to an item he posed on chicagosports.com that proclaimed Desipio as one of the best blogs on the Interwebs.
But recently we learned that somebody in the Tribune tower had deactivated the link to that post. Hey, it’s been three years, who can blame them?
But here’s the problem. It wasn’t a dead URL. Instead it linked to the awful, horrible, deplorable, insufferable ChicagoNOW.com abomination that includes, among other things, the presence of the horrific, little, bald, Jimmy Greenfield and Dave Kaplan’s “blog.”
So it doesn’t link there anymore.
Now it just links here.
But we have memories. Oh, the memories!
