(WTF is up with searching Boobtube and finding no Dexter thread?) I don't have Showtime, but I just Netflixed season 1 and I have been unable to stop at less than four episodes at a sitting. This show is a Black Angus Ribeye wrapped in a Kobe Filet Strip wrapped in bacon and rolled into two spheres, floating in a bucket of Pickapeppa. I love everything about this show, right down to the opening credits, which I don't even fast-forward through even though it's on DVD. Michael C. Hall is the absolute balls as Dexter. He absolutely nails it from start to finish. Julie Benz is smokin'. The premise is about as unique as it gets. The cinematography is outstanding and unique. The supporting cast is great. James Remar! The writing is fantastic. I can't remember the last time I was so instantly hooked by a show.

Submitted: Steak sauce More steak sauce from Teh Trib: In 1995, a Cubs fan named John Murray attacked reliever Randy Myers on the mound and was taken down by Myers. Murray was banned from Wrigley Field for one year, but now is trying to get publicity for his Cubs slogan, "It's Gonna Happen," which is printed on T-shirts, signs and wristbands.
The Cubs are aware of Murray's history and have asked Comcast SportsNet and WGN-Ch. 9 not to show Murray's signs during telecasts, according to team sources. Beautiful.

Intrepid Reader: BC Look at what happened to Springfield against Shelbyville. They had Scioscia, Mattingly, Boggs, Ozzie Smith, Sax, Canseco, Griffey, Strawberry, and Clemens, and it still came down to Homer getting beaned in his melon to win the game.
That's only because they suffered nine separate misfortunes. BC's video game team would never suffer nine separate misfortunes. Two? Sure, I could see that. Six? Meh, there's an outside chance. But nine? Pfft, I'd like to see that.

By the way, I wouldn't mind blowing 10 or 15 minutes reading up on some of the Olberman stuff. A sex scandal, you say? Anybody got a link or something, or care to elaborate on some of the Olberman dirt, whether confirmed or not?
