Is this the year?  Where I DON'T get kicked in the nuts?  Pretty sure this is the year.

Better work on my George C. Scott method acting in case things don't pan out.

Bump.

Draft tonight, y'all!

I came here to say this.  Mark the hour!

The hour I won the league...

Thanks to JD and Hoseph for the reminders.  When is the keeper deadline?  I might as well do mine now, made easy thanks to ChuckD's awesome spreadsheet.

1 - Josh Hamilton
8 - Mike Stanton
9 - Daniel Hudson
23 - Eric Hosmer

Yeah.  I only now found out about the whole Spotify thing.  It's pretty great.  Why the hell aren't more people on it?

My team needs a trade-based overhaul if I'm to repeat playoff appearances.  Let the offers roll boys!

This is like if wow and amazing had a child.

I like the new dashboard, but my ISP (Qwest) does not support ESPN3.  Ughasaurus FUX

I hear the audio codec for chat is the most improved, but I haven't heard it yet.  Anyone tried voice chat post-update?

Day 1 purchase bitches!  Impressions to follow.  Excitement to ensue.  Let the internetfap commence.

Yea. It's sitting in my car waiting for me to drive home, splooge all over it, and then throw it in the secksbox.

Also, Simmer, I gave you my gamertag a while back, but you didn't send a request. What's your Xbox tag?

My bad Yeti, I forgot what your tag was.  I meant to drop by to ask for it again.  Mine is SD Crippler -- anyone here feel free to add me, I already have a few of you on my list.

I heard it's buggy as hell right now.  As in, many reviewers can't even go an hour without it freezing up.  I'm sure it'll be patched, but I'm going to wait until it is.

I've been asking friends to submit an objective review about the glitches and bugs they've experienced so far.  There seemed to be a big discrepancy in the initial reports, some saying its bug-free, some saying it is broken to the point of unplayability.  In my own experience (call it about 5 hours, counting afk time), I've had a few minor glitches, but nothing game breaking, and 0 freezes so far.  A mole rat got swallowed by a rock.  A radscorpion melted into railroad tracks.  Doc Mitchell got stuck in a ::climbing stairs:: animation in front of a bunch of shelves.  That's really just about it so far, but I acknowledge that Oblivion and Fallout 3 were among the buggiest games I have ever played.  With New Vegas, so far so good, but with this game engine you never know what lies around the corner.

That said, the game is awesome.  You guys know how awful I am at condensing, so I'll spare you the brick-sized paragraphs and just recommend that you do not walk, but RUN, to your nearest retailer and pick up this game.  Hardcore mode is everything I thought it would be -- and more.  No joke!

So, wait.  How is it me and JD are on the outside looking in?  But no matter, come next year...

I tip my cap to Thrill who played a solid game, and extend a middle finger to the rest in a symbolic gesture of a war volley.  Pre-emptive strike MF'ers!

Can we make trades in the off-season?

This is an easy Day 1 purchase for me.  Leave the second guessing to the junk-shavers and head for the wastes my man.  Most anticipated release this year.
