What's your point? I know, I know. Your point is that Ibanez is having a much better year than Milton Bradley. And that Hendry, using his magical Hindsight Algorithm, should have signed Ibanez because it was so obvious to everyone Raul Ibanez would hit 17 home runs by the third week of May. But what in Ibanez's history suggested it was a good idea to sign him? He's going to be 37 this year, he makes Adam Dunn look good on defense and he's been stuck as a 820-ish OPS player for years. All reasonable thought would have indicated that's a bad signing. And sometimes, weird things happen like mediocre 37-year-old corner outfielders get really hot for two months and crush the ball. You're crazy if you think he'll keep up his 1.151 OPS pace. Actually, it's pretty clear that you're crazy, regardless of your belief in the preceding statement. What in Bradley's history indicates he's worth a shit for a full season unless he spends most of it as a DH? What does that have to do with Raul Ibanez?

I'm starting to think that this Cubs team is doing to Lou what the Penguins did to Therrien this season--give up on a hardass coach until a change is made.
Stop talking about Pittsburgh all the time. Finally, someone said it. And what was all that shit about Pittsburgh? What the FUCK, has anything got to do with Pittsburgh?

DPD for the Astros Sneak Attack Update. Managerial Lineup Card Screwup has Michael Bourn Bat Twice in a Row...because the Astros presented plate umpire Eric Cooper with a lineup card featuring Matsui leading off and Bourn batting second, that move provided embarrassment after Bourn was brought back to the plate after leading off with a single to right.
Once Milwaukee manager Ken Macha questioned the lineup card to Eric Cooper, Matsui was called out with an assist to the catcher and then Bourn had to bat again.
Houston's sneak attack plan finally revealed: Step 1: Bat Michael Bourn. Step 2: Bat Michael Bourn. Step 3: Profit!

Jay-Cutt(l)er
What does this mean? I was pretty hammered--but I think that the 'Cutter' would be a good nickname. I think that's what it means. It is because he slices through defenses up like a SURGEON!?! I originally made a typo and wrote "STURGEON," but changed it. I probably should have just left it, because it makes as much sense as "Cutter." You made up that whole scenario just to get in a dig didn't you? Not this time.
