I didn't watch the game, so I have no idea what happened to remind people of Dusty. But I'm not going to worry about a team that lost playing without its 3, 4, and 5 hitters. I'm not going to worry. At all.
Missing the 3-4-5 hitters doesn't explain why they gave up seven fucking runs to that sack of shit offense. I'll explain it for you: Ted Lilly pitched poorly. |

I know he works the count and can generate a robust OBP, but pull a .600 SLG and .780 OPS out of your rice bowls through July or August and then I'll SPLOOOGE!
If he has a .600 SLG and a .780 OPS, he's not working the count very well. 10 singles, 10 doubles, 5 triples, and 50 home runs over 400 PAs would be something to behold. It'd be the GritPower we all fear. |

The Bulls are up two with 31 seconds left, but I'd just like to point out that Vinny's crunch-time lineup of Salmons at the 4 and Miller at the 5 is about the dumbest possible thing someone could dream up.
Also, Derrick Rose has testicles like bowling balls. I know I shouldn't be surprised at anything Vinny does anymore, but christ are his substitutions awful. Good thing Salmons was in there to defend Allen so he could leave him wide open for the game-tying three. It's just dumbfounding how Allen was even allowed to catch the ball on that possession. How Vinny doesn't prep them for that, I have no idea. |

Well that's not very realsitic.
Was he fired? I thought he just got moved out of the Scranton office, maybe back to corporate. It's too bad the Michael Scott Paper Company had to come to an end. Maybe I just wasn't being clear. The whole idea of driving in runs as a counter to errors the lead to runs being scored is just so unbelievably dumb. It's mind-numbing. It's the opposite of the way baseball should be thought about. It's on par with Dusty saying that black players have an advantage in the sun or that walks clog the bases. It's lazy thinking.
Sorry...talk like that chaps my nutsack. Have you ever had a chapped nutsack? Doesn't feel good.
