I have a healthy lack of dislike for Nate Schierholtz. He might just work out in a very benign, uninteresting way.
He's got CT-like levels of nondescriptitude. My Giant fan son (Number Two Son) told me during the Winter that the acquisition of Scheirholtz was a major deal for the Cubs. He didn't think that Pence was an improvement for the Giants. |

Slowly but surely this show is more about Boyd Crowder.
I don't know. I think it's probably as equally about Boyd and Raylan as ever. The season ended with the cliffhangers mostly involving Boyd. His job offer. His fiancee. The final scene is about Boyd, not Raylan. |

Is this show going overboard? The bad guys feel bad when they accidently kill someone. But the "good guys" show no remorse over deliberately killing an innocent person in order to send a message?

I know that I will go to the two night games. Mrs. Cubbieblue will undoubtedly go to the July 3 night game because we both have a thing about the firework show. My number three son will probably be at both night games with some of his buddies. I will probably go to the day game on July 4. My number two son will probably go to at least one of the games and maybe even bring my five year old grandson who specializes in being the life of the party.

Well...yeah.
Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup. Mrs. Cubbieblue rewound and watched the shooting scene in Raylan's ex's apartment three times. Slowly but surely this show is more about Boyd Crowder. I hope they don't turn him into a "good guy". |

Reminder.
July 2, 2013 night game, July 3, 2013 night game. July 4, 2013 day game.
I should be there for at least one of those. That's the vacation plan anyway. I know that I will go to the two night games. We bought a new house today and are planning on replacing the appliances.
However, my wife thinks it's worth keeping the existing fridge and putting it into the garage "because you never know if we'll want the extra storage."
Is this controversial? This doesn't really feel like something you'd have to admit in a dark corner of the internet. It depends...if you're normal, no. If you're the guy who's been railing at me like a loon for the last 5 years because I dare own a second fridge like any other red-blooded American, then yes. So, to clarify, it's a bad thing to have more space to store beer, meat and other delicious things? Beer, almond milk and sunflower butter. Bump.
They are moving fast. I feel like I just watched a third of A Storm of Swords in fast forward. So, this episode kind of disappointed me but I think they're trying to get some relatively minor stuff settled before they start landing haymakers.
I guess it was just me, but I remember this show as being more interesting. No newcomer to the series is likely to stick around after last night's snorer. OK. I admit that I slept through a third of it. Did they behead anyone? Pillage a village? Did someone visit an orphanage? |
