Al Smellon molests more children than dat yetti guy and Kurt Evans combined. And he's mentally retarded.
This is all up for speculation. No truth, that I know of, was stated in my above comments. Please do not sue me or whoever thought any of this was true. I didn't even type it. My account was hacked from an IP address in Duffman Estates.
And yet, when I previously suggested that such comments were actionable... Are you saying the truth is not a defense against libel, Kurt? I'm saying that there are plenty of ways to hate on someone you dislike without crossing a legal line that could cost someone their job due solely to baseless accusations. It's a good thing that there's no way to catalog all of the times folks here have said or done something libelous... |

Bump. Started watching season 1 last night. Couldn't stop watching it, the characters have depth, great acting. No one else is watching this? This might be the most intense show I've seen, by far the best show on Showtime.
Just started it last night. Pilot was great - but my question is why is no one wondering why a man who supposedly spent 8 years in a hole is in very good physical condition? He would be a tad more withered, no? Even if he was being fed well he certainly wouldn't be exercising. Or maybe they had him in a work camp. I feel like this should be addressed. Thanks for ruining this show, I won't be able to watch another episode until this gets addressed. And what's the deal with him keeping all his teeth? Do you really mean to tell me that they were letting him brush and floss every night? That he got them cleaned at some point? Total fucking bullshit. still the best show on tv |

Did they pick Chicago because they wouldn't need to budget too much on set modifications?
Is this something about homeless people again? If the survivors on the show walk up to strangers and tell them elaborate stories of their past troubles while begging for money, then yes. You haven't been to many American cities if you think that's Chicago-exclusive. You realize I'm being sarcastic. But why. Because although I love Chicago more than any other city in the world, you get amusingly butthurt if I make about it stupid jokes of similar lameness to those lobbed at Toronto. |

It took me a while to catch on to this but now that I have, I wish I'd watched it earlier. It's about four teenage virgins on the hunt for booze and secks, and is really nicely written, with some fantastically balanced characters. Funny as fuck, and highly recommended.
Just in case there's any confusion, I'm talking about the original UK version, by the way - not the (by all accounts) shitty US remake.
The US remade this one too? I thought that they just did Skins... Definitely a funny show. I second Tonker's recommendation. |

I see that the Avett Brothers are playing in Chicago on September 28th at Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island. Do yourselves a favor and buy tickets to this concert. They are outstanding live performers.
NO WAY! Why the sarcastic remark? I know you are also a fan of the Avett Brothers - but there's no indication on the forums that I could find that you were even aware they were returning to Chicago in the near future. |
