It's in a few weeks or so. I heard it was coming back in a couple of weeks, give or take... According to the TVIV, it's sometime in September. Yeah, I said give or take. |

Thanks. When I was younger I was a lot more prolific. I was in a crew that rhymed and battled and freestyled every day. I felt like I could beat anybody head to head. Use it or lose it. But my friend Rashaad, he never quit and now he's trying to put an album together and can use some help. I'll be featured on a track or two. It's fun as hell. Oh, what might have been.... if I weren't white and from teh ubrbs in Indiana. Did your "crew" have a name? "Elite Lyricists" - not my idea. In my verse on this song, my first time in the studio in nearly 10 years, I start out by saying that "I studied lyrical techniques with Elite MC's." It was three man crew, one black, one white, one bi-racial. We had friends with rock bands and would make songs with them and we had a like a three-song demo produced in Columbus, Ohio in '99. But the other two guys couldn't keep themselves out of jail. So that was that. I went to college and forgot about it. Now that's street cred. They stole money from Initech. HA! That's awesome. My daily "to do" list: 1) Wake up. 2) Be aewsome. 3) Repeat #1 and #2 tomorrow. I think that messing up that quote took your previous 'awesome' away. |

I lived in Chicago for exactly 1 day in 2003. The apartment we looked at was very nice, and very affordable. Was about $1000 split between two people. Just blocks from Wrigley Field and Lake Michigan. I still wonder what could have been.
Then again, I think the apartment might have been around Halsted, which I didn't know anything about at the time. Thanks to this (the only) site (you'll ever need), I've learned that Halsted might not be the right place for an upstanding heterosexual such as myself. Good luck and good hunting, Pexarino!

I used to work with a guy who was your typical Lincoln Park-like Trixiemale. And, naturally his name was Chad. He grew up downstate, and was one of the biggest flippin' whores I ever had the distinction of partying with. Dumb as a box of rocks, but I'll be damned if he didn't get laid nearly every goddamn weekend, and usually by girls who were out of most guys' leagues. Anyway, this guy lived right at Halsted and Roscoe, which is like Ground Zero of Boys Town. Didn't bother him in the least. Why would it? He was too busy banging chicks to give a f@#$ what people thought. Besides, as he used to say, plenty of straight chicks in the neighborhood--hetero girls naturally feeling safer in a clean area not infested by potential rapists. To him, it was a numbers game. What a slut. somehow, you manage to sound only slightly jealous. You think Mike secretly wishes "Chad" was a ghey and would whisk him away to his little nest of sin on Halsted for some ... yilch. I kinda got that too. You guys are just mad cuz I called yer little Joy Luck Club of Weight Loss gay. I eat chicken almost every single day. That's how I get my abs to pop. |

Also make sure to take some TP with you and dump in each and every apartment. This does two things- A) it allows you time to think and reflect on your life and the potential apartment and B) it shows the landlord that you are the boss and that he should give the apartment to you at a reduced rate.
If you're going to press upon the landlord that it is you who are the boss, I suggest forgoing the TP, shit with the door open, don't flush, don't wash your hands, and then make sure you shake hands at the conclusion of the tour. You guys gave me the hiccups. |

Well, there are some Brewers fans here too. And their suckiness is all I have left in the world. Except for the Reds' suckiness. Oh, yes. There is that.
At least the Reds have The VORP's greatness to bask in. Looking at their team, that's the only thing worth basking in right now. They're terrible. And this thread has to bug the piss out of you in some way, EG. I mean, not only did I start it but I came up with nicknames for two overrated pitchers along the way. This thread is the closest thing we have to positive on this day but it just won't feel right until you poo-poo it. That's right. Poo-poo. Jim Hendry thought those nicknames were choice. |

I take full credit for that since I turned the game on just as Diaz was getting thrown out at first.
How did Turnbow look? White trashy. He was throwing hard, of course, but it was crazy wild. Like his hair. He seemed pretty unaffected by the whole thing, though. Just his usualy mouth-breathin', lookin'-for-a-fix self. |
