How Canadians drink milk, with milk bags goodness.  (And the original video that started the whole deal).

Plus an article about the topic from the Toronto Star

There were some milk bags in there worth YouTubing but they didn't get nearly enough screen time. Boo Canada.

And that hole in the corner of the bag that exposes the milk to the air, keeps the milk fresher how? Do they have a lid for the milk container for when they put it back in the fridge?

You can fold over the spout and use clips for freshness.  Also, each bag is also about a quarter gallon, which can be consumed pretty quickly.

That all seems needlessly complicated.

Once you buy the milk, you need some special pitcher to hold the bag and you need scissors to cut the bag open?  You know, down here, we can actually buy the milk in its own container and then open that container with no other tools than our own two hands.  Sometimes, we can even open the container and drink its milk inside with the use of only one hand.  It's all very magical.

Shouldn't that be 250 milligallons, or something?

Don't be ridiculous. I just wanted to have a little talk about the metric system.
