OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I'm at home... on dial-up... so sorry if I'm a few days late and bring this back on topic...  I also only read the first two pages b/c of the shity connection.

Favorite beer ever: Delerium Nocturnems (Tremens is good, but Nocturnems is darker... and thus better)
Favorite from a US brewery: Three Philosophers (Omegang, Cooperstown NY - a black cherry lambic, 26 oz, 9.8%, they have it at the sweet ass shop on Illinois or Water, a block or two from Navy Pier after you go under Michigan)

A few other that I really like:

Edmund Fitzgerald Porter (Great Lakes Brewery, Cleveland Ohio)
Anything from Unibroue (Quebec, somewhere)
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA
Just about anything Leinenkugel's...  Doppel Bock is my favorite in the winter, and the Honey/Berry combo in the summer
Ditto for Goose Island, though the Demolition is particularly good
And of course, Chimay Grand Reserve.

I look for high APV and taste.  I think my favorite bar thus far has been the Clark St. Ale House - $4 pints of good micros.  I want to go to the Goose Island Brewery sometime this winter.

After 12 pages of Sydnee Steele goodness, I've decided to go with the Tucher Urfränkisch dunkel. I'am the biggest Nurnberg homer there is.

Damn good beer. Chocolate and coffee hints. Binny's stocks it, and so do most Whole Foods.

It does omit the mildly pedophilic literary contribution of Old Irish in which Conchobar "one third of the day spent watching the youths, another third playing fidchell, another third drinking ale till he falls asleep therefrom."

I'll be sure the authors are aware of it. Maybe a future addition will be so endowed.

When we were in Kansas City we drank copious amounts of Boulevard Irish Ale.  Holy shit, that stuff was good, easy to drink and after six of them you couldn't feel your legs.

In other words, it was perfect.

Had this the other night, one of the most memorable beers I've ever had. Expensive, but incredible.

I had it just a few weeks ago.  Totally agree -- one of the better beers I've ever had.  Trappists are great.

THI

I've bought one on the way home from work the last three paydays. I've only been drinking it for a year but it's probably my favorite Trappist.
