Your favorite.
In the States: St. Pauli Girl: Special Dark
Here in Germany: Lowenbrau: Triumphator (That's 7.8% alcohol, MADD)
Best beer to drink prior to fat chick lovin: Schlitz.
For my money, Rock, Loewenbraeu is only the third best brewery in Munich, behind Paulaner and (best of all) Augustiner. Ayinger (from just outside Munich) is also excellent. You ask any beer nut in Muenchen what they drink, though, and they'll all say Augustiner. Their "Edelstoff" puts hair on your chest.
Dutch beer sucks, for the most part. Belgian beer, though, which is universally available here, is excellent. Leffe and Grimberger are my favourites. Blond, Dubbel, Tripel - it's all great, it just depends how pished you want to get.

Oh, and if Southern German beer isn't your cup of tea (so to speak), Jever from Friesland is magnificent. Really dry and positively heaving with hops. Yum.

Lots of swear words could be used here about the (domestic) beer industry. Â I'll limit myself to:
You can taste the steel from the distillery in Budweiser. Â If you're going to drink domestic, the least you could do for yourself is have a nice warm Natural Ice, or the finest domestic out there, Icehouse.

We should change the thread title to Bad. Beer.
But I'll steer us back, I love me some
Newcastle
. Yum.
Why, I just enjoyed a fine Newcastle a few nights back myself. Â
That
is what beer is.
My own input into this thread? Â The greatest beer known to myself -- Warsteiner premium dunkel. Â Go to war with Warsteiner. Â Get dunked by the dunkel.

In fact isn't Milwaukee an indian name?
Thanks man. I haven't ventured that far south. I'm currently stuck outside of Ansbach. A lot of the local stuff is pretty solid though. I hope to get down Munchen around Christmas. I'll check some of that stuff out. I really need more hair on my chest.

Warsteiner truly is a porn star. I got a buddy over here who refuses to partake in pretty much any activity unless a case of that is involved. Oh and you can't go wrong with a dunkel.

Forgot to mention that Mike and Fork were right. Â Old Mil is my personal worst beer. Â Milwaukee's Best Ice, to be specific.
I used to fancy myself as an ice beer warrior, and still do if need be, but Milwaukee's Best Ice tastes a lot like Korski's vodka (about $5 for a full gallon, I think?), which tastes a lot like solidified cement puke chunks, which usually makes you puke.

How are those, anyway? Â I've always been too afraid to try the native's beer. Â I see Blatz signs up here all around the county, and Point I've been told will give you rainbow shit. Â The only local I've tried is Leinenkugels, but I was an Iowan when I tried it.

Newcastle is my standby, mainly because it's hard to find a place that doesn't serve it and it's always the balls. I'd like to get more into the Belgian beers, I frequent a Belgian microbrew that makes a killer Tripel. When it comes to the commercially available in the US stuff, I don't mind Stella, but I'm not keen on Hoegarden and other wits. Also, I'm a big fan of Aylinger.

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is T-E-H A-B-L-L-S
I think all the Sammy Smiths are tasty. I'd probably drink his piss. It's probably better than Miller Lite.
I also love me some Guinness when it can be had in a respectable establishment that knows how to keep and pour it. My sister's friend from Ireland once went behind the bar and schooled a youngster in my hometown about the keg, the pour etc. It was quite a trip. The manager gave us a free round in appreciation.
I'll see your New Castle and your Warsteiner's and I'll drink them for you too. Yummy!
Honorable mention:
Red Stripe
Dos Equis
Killian's
Honey Brown

I'll tell you where to get some good domestic. Seattle.
There seems to be a micro brewery every damn block. It's also the home of Starbuck's.
Which means: Go to a micro, get a load on, grab a cuppa in Starbucks to sober up, hit the next micro.
I mean, shit, it's always raining there anyway, so ya gotta do something, right?
Also in Seattle: F.X. McRory's, one of the greatest bars I've ever been in. They have a "Wall of Liquor", barkeeps literally have to blimb ladders to get at some of the stuff. My bud vgk and I went in there after a Mariners game (it was across from the Kingdome), had a couple shots, including one of "Georgia Moon", corn liquor. We then went up onto a deserted observation deck of a tall building and took leaks. Over the side. Like I said, it's always raining there anyway.

I enjoy Leinenkugel's and have been enjoying it a lot more since my sister's fiancee is an area rep for Leinies and whenever we get together, he brings beer. That said, he's a Sox fan so maybe it's best to avoid buying Leinie's because we all know that he'll spend his commission on meth anyway.
Seriously, though Leinie's is pretty good, but I also enjoy Goose Island (Honker's, IPA and 312), Fat Tire, Anchor Steam and Sierra Nevada.
For foreign drinking, I do like Smithwick's, Warsteiner and Harp -- in that order. Give me a Stella and I won't complain, either.
For industrial drinking (parking lot at Soldier Field, for example), Coor's Light, Miller Lite, MGD, Budweiser, Bud Lite and Bud Select are what's consumed, in that order.
Now, what's everyone's favorite Scotch? Bourbon?
