Let's say I were having a baby boy at the end of the year.  Because I am. If I name him Casey, am I dooming him to a life of being teased for having a girl's name?  According to the social security web site, it get used more for boys than for girls ...

Thought I pulled out.  Dammit.

I laughed out loud.

You sick fuck

You're on fire today!

OMG.  I didn't even see you posted in this thread.  I was just referring to you trying to stick your tiny, girlish wiener inside of small boys' peeholes while bonging Woodchuck cider and trying not to get all sickly on the carbonation and bubblies that make your tummy ache.  Bitch.

Grr!  Now I'm angry at yoU!  One day we will fight!

Just avoid the name Andrew.  It produces nothing but fuckups.

Kasey = Female

That guy from whom Yellon lifted the "Cubs by Numbers" idea will probably be surprised to hear this.

Also, I work with a Casey who's a girl.  Full name is Cassandra.  My wife's boss--allso female--is Casey as well.  It still strikes me, initially, as a boy's name.

I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

I think I need to pick something else.  It's just nagging at me.  I think Casey sounds really cool and friendly, but I won't enjoy it since in my head, I've made it into this huge issue.  Like I am going to give him a reason to hate me before he's even born.  Plus, I read a study that said that boys with "girly" (ugh) names suddenly develop behavior problems in middle school.  And if there happens to be a girl in class with the same name, they turn into murderers or something.  I think the study was focused on names that I wouldn't even consider unisex names, like Ashley and Shannon.  But, still.

Thanks for all of the input.
