According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Cubs have agreed to terms with Corey Koskie on a minor league contract.
Koskie hasn't played in the majors since 2006, when he hit .261/.343/.490 in 257 at-bats for the Brewers. He has been cleared to play once again after battling post-concussion syndrome for a few years. He'll compete for a backup job on the Cubs.

He's going to play for Team Canada in the WBC.  So the world (the 1,214 people who will watch the WBC--and yes, I'm one of them) will know how much he's got left.

Schilling wants to pitch for the Cubs.  That's awesome.  I love that guy.  I hope he chokes on a Krispy Kreme this afternoon and dies.

I think we watch it for different reasons.  He watches it because he believes Uncle Bud's bullshite about it spreading the glory of baseball around the world.  I watch it hoping that every non-Cub will suffer a devastating injury.

Cards sign Dennys Reyes.

While I am a big fan of many of the Grand Slam deals, and the all night capability, I still feel like I am betraying IHOP every time I see one a Dennys.  This will however fit in nicely with the St. Louis crowd.
