That includes me.
I opened my big mouth when he was signed, playing know-it-all Dad and informing all my family members that he sucks and it was a huge waste of money.
Now I get reminded of this every time he hits, fields, starts at another position, hustles, and just generally does everything asked of him without complaining.

Can someone explain why they intentionally walked Ward, only to pitch to Ponderosa? The guy was 4-4 and a double play wasn't going to get them anywhere. Shouldn't they have walked DeRosa to preserve a force play at home?

The bad news is there was an injury during the game. To me. I don't know what the hell happened, but I pulled up lame like Soriano rounding second running from my office (and the radio) to watch the excitement on the TV. Felt something pop in my calf.
