The thrill is gone. Go back to Des Moines, or better yet, go back to the Dominican to pitch in front of scouts with Pedro and practice for WBC 2013 so the Dutch can stick a wooden shoe up your ass again.

Kevin Gregg has better control than Marmol.

I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

Do you think opposing hitters dread the very sight of Larry Rothschild when Marmol's in the game? If somebody is really on their game they can tell us what opposing batters' OBP is before and after Larry's obligatory mound visits in the 9th this year. I that bet shit's pretty stark.
