TDubbs' idea of everyone getting a bleacher ticket actually seems to have the most merit, unless everyone wants to do a rooftop again.

That would certainly make it easier to fuck with Al.

Especially if we all got "Banned by BCB" shirts.

Carrying sandwiches and wearing those shirts: Priceless

Can you throw tomatoes at someone during the game without getting the boot?

You can't even throw popcorn.

Mrs. Cubbieblue wants to know where I want to go to celebrate our 50th this June.  If I told her that I wanted to go sit in the bleachers at Wrigley, I know for certain that the marriage would end up shy of 50.

We'll do it in July then.

Bump

A few of us in the Shoutbox were throwing around August 29th as a possible date for this year's Desipio Outing.  It's a Saturday afternoon game (3:10pm) against the Mets.  I'm willing to start working on this, getting the rooftop and so on, unless I hear any objections from the Desipio crowd.  It'll probably be another $150/head kind of deal.  Anyone have any thoughts or objections?  If I don't hear them by tomorrow I'm going to start setting it up.

Is there a site where you can look up prices? I have to believe rooftop prices will be cheaper this year..

DPD.  This is where I'm going to start.

I may have to call each of them individually, which is fine.

You may want to check with the cubs also. I gotta think that there will be boxes available as well.

Just got back from Skybox on Sheffield.

Head and shoulders above that Brixen trash.

I had several brownies.

Despite how much everyone here hates my brother, he is doing a lot of the ticket sales from Wrigley Done Right, the rooftop down the right field line.  I've been there a couple times and it's a really good place.  The staff is pretty laid back and the food is good.  I could probably find a way to get a discount of some sorts depending on how many people will be going.
