Picked up a bunch of new shit:

Deftones, Foals, The National, Circa Survive, Broken Social Scene, LCD Soundsystem, Minus the Bear and The Radio Dept.

I have only really listened to Circa Survive so far and I like what I hear quite a bit.

Anyone hear any of these yet?

The National is a bit of a disappointment, I've only streamed LCD and like it - but not as much as Sound of Silver.  Want to check out the Foals.  Excited for the Sleigh Bells album too.

New LCD is really good aside from Drunk Girls. All I Want and Dance Yrself Clean are incredible.

Also really enjoying the Rill Rill song by Sleigh Bells. The rest of it is pretty shite though. I dig the Funkadelic sample.

Got a ton of new shit I need to sit down with.

Anyone into the psych should check out the new Sleepy Sun album, Fever.

I like LCD Soundsystem.  Also, Crystal Castles and Broken Bells.

The new Locksley is a decent summer pop album.

I like the new National album quite a bit. I was one of three people that didn't think Boxer was the greatest thing in history so I'm glad they made this one.

Anyone heard any stuff from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros? I just heard that "Home" song a few weeks ago. I definitely like it.

Yeah, they've sold all their songs to ad companies at this point - which pretty much ensures we'll see at least a second album. I think there are some good songs on that album - best song is Desert Song, for my money. Home is extremely catchy, too, though.

Nice. I'll probably pick it up. I'm usually behind on things it seems. I listen to the Alternative Hits station on Slacker, and it seems like they come out with a song a little while later, as it appears Home was out in 2009.. I don't listen to radio in the car, so that's my only source.
