Yeah, but they got stuck with
Madonna
Esther too.
You got a problem with triangular, jelly-filled cookies?

Kuma's Corner has the best burger in the city.
This.
And each burger is named after a metal band, which makes them awesomer.
Every time there's a show at the Beat Kitchen that we want to see, we hit up Kuma's first. Looks like early April is going to be that time.
That place just rules. Tons of great beer and the best burger around. Just have to get there somewhat early or you'll wait forever. The place is tiny.
Finally had the Kuma burger. Holy tits what a great burg. And the waffle fries rule.
Their mac and cheese is awesome too. It's an enormous serving so even if you split it you'll have several days worth of leftovers.

You ate the Kuma Burger, fries AND the mac and cheese? Goddamn, I've never estimated you but if I had I would have underestimated you. That's a lot o' food. I'm assuming you had some beers as well. Color me impressed.

The [KurtEvans]wife[/KurtEvans] and I each took down about half our burgers and tagteamed the mac and cheese to the tune of about 1/8th of it. It's massive.

They took a black and white picture of our sensual act, splashed some hipster blood on it, and put it up on the wall.

I went to
DMK
the other day. It's a pretty long wait if you get there after 6, but it's well worth it. $8 for any burger on the menu. I got the #1, which was bacon, grilled onions of some kind, aged cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce on artisan bread. They also have five different kinds of fries you can order. We got the sweet potato fries with an aioli sauce (delicious) and parmesan fries with truffle cream (not good). They also have a large beer selection. Good stuff.

Hit the new/old Claim Company last night. I had skirt steak while The Wife had a Motherlode. Place was packed. Makes sense for nostalgic purposes. It was good, but not worth a long wait, tho.

DPD:
Finally went to Kuma's last weekend. With the amplitude of the music, I was jealous of The Wife's detachable hearing device.
Very good burgers, but we got there at 5:45 and were served at 9:20. Not worth that long of a wait.
The BBQ Pork served over fries was better than the burger.
