The double cheeseburger for $1 is a steal at any of your local McDonald's.

It's no longer a buck, brohan. It's $1.19.  No, the McDouble, which is a double cheeseburger with one less slice of cheese--is a buck.   Still at $1.19 for two patties and two slices of cheese, that's hard to beat.

You could just bring your own piece of cheese and save the .19.  Knowwhatimean? 
Since when did they come out with this "McDouble" character?  I need to eat more fast food I guess, or at least go when I'm sober.

First I've heard about it, too.  I'm calling "shenanigans" until I can confirm its truthiness.

I can be the third in on the McDouble.  The odd thing is, at the McDs I first saw it at, the menu had the McDouble at 1$, the Double Cheeseburger at $1.19, and a cheeseburger at $1.39, so apparently the beef patty has negative value. 

Also, Monks makes a tasty burger in the loop.

Hamburger Mary's in Andersonville. Great burgers and drag queens.

I like Moody's but I'm not all that impressed by the beer selection. The food is decent but for Chicago I don't think it's top tier. Great patio dining in summer though. I could sit there all night.

Every time there's a show at the Beat Kitchen that we want to see, we hit up Kuma's first. Looks like early April is going to be that time.

That place just rules. Tons of great beer and the best burger around. Just have to get there somewhat early or you'll wait forever. The place is tiny.

Their bartenders can actually serve a good cocktail too, which is true of a depressingly few places in the city.  Seriously, go there but go an
hour and a half before you plan on eating.  Also, full menu at the bar.

You can stop right there.  Frankly, I would have thought that Moody's had nothing but Old Pile.  It's not a place to get your drink on unless you woke up in 1979 and went there.  Dark dining room.  Peanuts on the table.  Every time I go there I feel like I've walked into a time machine.  Good burger, though.

They have Berghoff Dunkel. It's ok.

Bell's is fantastic, especially the Oberon. They also have the Dogfish Head 60 minute on tap which I highly recommend. The 90 is evern more powerful. The 120 will kick your ass in the best way possible.
