Figure this is as good a place as any to point and laugh at Chuck's nonsensical Twitter rage over Quade coming THISCLOSE! to screwing up Chuck's beloved Cubs Haven't Been No-Hit in a Long Time record by playing de kidz. Thank CHRIST Casey Coleman came through to save us all from the doom and despair of a fluky occurrence that tells us nothing about how good or bad a team is (4 out of 6 of the no-hitters thrown last year came against playoff teams). If the #Cubs blow the longest no hit streak in MLB (history?) because Quade had "kids night" then fuck this team top to bottom Sandy Koufax followed by Mat Latos? Better not fucking happen. Casey Coleman - Whew @ivychat Sandy Koufax followed by Mat Latos? Better not fucking happen Excellent dongbaggery, Chuck! *points, laughs* Of all the things that this team has done, that's what drew Chuck's ire the most. Amazing.

Quade having "kids night" (whatever that means) is something I marginally positive, since there is precisely zero reason to play Pena, Byrd, &c. at this point in this season.

There's no other streak the Cubs have to worry about, right?

I'll take what good I can get. The 103 year one can't be fixed this year. Besides. It's always good to be rooting for the opposite of what Al Yellon is rooting for.

The Cubs were almost no-hit? I don't think I could pay less attention to them.

Not really. It was like the sixth inning.

Not really. It was like the sixth inning. So Chuck was basically hoping that they'd be no-hit so he'd have another reason to bitch about Quade? #fuckingmindreader

Not really. It was like the sixth inning. Well that hardly seems worth worrying about.

Not really. It was like the sixth inning. Len and Bob alerted the Twitterverse to it. Trying to get people to watch, i guess.
