One of my favorite parts is Joe's voice rising a few octaves after Artie takes out a cigarette and threatens to smoke it.

I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

Oh, that was awesome.

Artie: Sorry to ruin your fucking great show.

Joe: Yeah. No, no. I appreciate the apology because you have.

YOU CAN'T DO THAT, SIR! SIR, YOU CANNOT DO THAT. NO DON'T! PLEASE!

Darn it! I was so wound up with David Letterman apologizing once again to Sarah of Arc that I missed Mr. Buck's getting embroiled in a controversy.

You know the dénouement of this saga will be the two of them sitting across a desk from one another.

Matching Artie Lange against Joe Buck on Joe's first show is like giving your kid a baseball bat for the first time and sending out to face Big Z after he just got taken deep by the Garden Gnome.

Artie Lange is my fucking hero. If he'd only punched Buck in his pompous asschin, he'd be the greatest human being, living or dead.

So they brought in Artie Lange and expected what, Noel Coward?

Awesome. Now you bastards can get off my ass about Kevin Hart (tearing up the PCL, motherbitchez!) AND Arie Lange (now banned by HBO [!!!] for using "guteral language" [!!!] on JOE BUCK'S "great fucking show" [!!!11])

It's an Internet Apex world, octaroons. You're just avatars in my own private guteral menagerie. And I love you like my own god damned children.

"He can go do as many Howard Stern shows as he likes . . but he will no longer appear on HBO Sports or 'Joe Buck Live,' " HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg told The Post yesterday.

How charitable of this Greenburg douche to give his permission for Lange to continue to appear on a show over which he has no contol over.

And why is this news?  Why would Artie Lange give a fuck about being BANNED from HBO Sports?  Now, if he were BANNED from HBO entirely, that might sting for for a guy who may have opportunities to develop work  there, but HBO Sports?  Oooh, that's a burn.

So suddenly HBO, a pay cable network, has problems with someone uttering obsenities and other things on it's programming just because that pompous douche Joe Buck is "offended". Well, it's a good thing that Joe wasn't on The Sopranos or HBO would have never got off the ground with that one.
