Braylon to the Jets. Wow. He can drop balls New York and punch Yi's little buddy.
And Crabtree signed.
Edwards to the Jets is a good move. Playing in Cleveland has more or less sapped that guy of his work ethic and will to live.
I wouldn't be surprised if he has a great year with the Jet.
The best part about Crabtree signing is that by most reports he didn't gain a damn thing through the hold out except a 6th year, and there's no more guaranteed money in the deal now than there was in July. Nice job by the 49ers to wait that one out.
Update: Apparently the Browns got Chansi Stuckey, a special teams player, and a 3rd and 5th round pick. That's a pretty good haul.
Once you put on the green jersey you become teh suck. It's science.
I suppose. Although, since Edwards just got into an altercation at a night club, perhaps he'd be a better fit amongst the Giants wide receiver corps.

"Plummer, in 1999, "contributed" 1,017 fewer yards to the Cardinals than the league average QB would have brought to the table. As far as modern seasons go, Plummer's '99 stands as the worst."

I think that third round pick can become a 2nd round pick depending on Braylons performance this season. So how quickly did he get snapped up in everyones fantasy leagues after the announcements?
What really cracks me up about Crabtree is how much money he lost out on by missing 4 games already.

Atlanta @ San Francisco (-3). I think the Falcons look like a nice pick here. Would anyone like to argue otherwise? I'm thinking of putting some cheddar down since I don't have a Bears game to get the blood boiling on Sunday.

Crabtree's agent was apparently so embarassed by his failure to accomplish anything that he didn't even attend the press conference.
I'd take that bet, Apex.

I would prefer Atlanta to win as they play the Bears next, but I'm otherwise opposed to giving advice in games where people are actually laying down some cake. My advice? Stop giving us a peephole into your degenerate habits.

I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio. Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded. The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread). Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

What does Atlanta winning this game have to do with their game against the Beloved?

Ask Thrillho.
Just more of a comfort level thing. I'd prefer the Bears play a decent team coming off a win than off a loss because they may not be playing as urgently, especially coming off a big divisional win on the road.

A win could mean they play with more confidence though. And don't forget the dreaded momentum!

You see... A win on the road makes a loss at home more likely.

How could I forget zazz? I use this line of thinking when making my confidence picks....I mean Tennesse lost last week, so they are sure to win this week right? It hasn't worked out so far.
