...I flipped on Humber's perfecto in the 8th and half-heartedly rooted for seeing an inning and a half of "history".

As did I.  I also laughed because I imagined Pen perfectgamecasting in the ShoutBox all by his lonesome.

Wait, there was a perfect game? What team?

I dropped  a quick update after 7 in the SBox and then went on my merry way.

Some day, there will be a legit no-hitter/perfect game that happens during work hours and I will own that bitch.

Still angry about that Halladay no-hitter game in the postseason when I was stuck in meetings.

... My dentist gave me a complete ass-kicking Saturday over the suggestion that the egg discs in the Egg McMuffin might be extruded.

Wait. They aren't extruded?

Of course they are.  Did you ever see one bend over and touch its toes?  Case closed.

The contention is that the eggs are mechanically cracked and then steamed in molds and, most importantly for recreation, have their yolks pricked.

Unless they've changed something recently, I can tell you that they are hand cracked into a set of rings that sits on the grill.  Looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMOS0T8spcQ

I'm not anywhere near "almost", and I don't expect to be back there any time before 2014 at the absolute earliest.  Nonetheless, I will never, ever get tired of seeing the Cubs stick it to the Tards, regardless of how irrelevant it might be to the standings.

I think blood testing in the new CBA (with blood testing) is going to give us all plenty of entertainment...and I'm sure the Angels are feeling pretty damn good about the quarter-billion dollars they have wrapped up in Albert Pujols.

We get it. You think the Cardinals have only been good because they all take HGH.

Unfortunately yes. I've learned I never want to live in a place where it's legal to drive a golf cart on the street again.
