I actually had forgotten that that happened in Storm of Swords. Hard to keep track of each book since so much happens and they're so friggin' epic.
Yeah, that scene was a gut puncher too.
BTW - (trying to be vague to stay spoiler free) the way Dany improved her situation is possibly my favorite part of any book so far. She instantly became one of my favorite characters after that.
