I hate and fear the suburbs, but if it is in an area reachable through the CTA, and the Metra, I will gladly gonna drinking with desipiots at some point this year.

Plus, you can legally drink on Metra.

You can drink on Metra as long as there's no downtown festivals going on when you ride it (Taste, Blues fest, etc.).

Also, why does Kerm want to see flannj in a sundress?

Why don't we go to somebody's house and play poker. $20 buy in, byob and order a bunch of pizza cut into little squares?

THI can be in addition to what we do at a bar on some sunny afternoon. I think Desipio Poker Party 2010 would be the shit.

I was actually thinking about doing a poker night sometime in the near future.  You just totally turned me off to the whole idea.

How did I manage that?

Wasn't taking over a bar the plan for 2009?

And didn't that fall by the wayside when the Cubs sucked?

How will 2010 be different? Cuter sundresses?

Since no one likes spending money, how about this option?  We pick a nice, warm Saturday afternoon game in June, and totally take over one of the bars down there.  I call dibs on sitting next to flannj.

If it's a bar why does it have to be a warm Saturday afternoon in June?
Shouldn't you go outside and play on a day like that videogameboy?
How about a miserable day in April instead?

And you want to sit next to me for what, the hugging? If so Oleg will be jealous.
Or do you just want to give the impression that you are there with your Dad?

1.  Are you aware of this new thing called the sundress?
2.  Are you aware of this new thing called the beer garden?
3.  Are you aware of this new thing called rainouts?
4.  A little bit of both.

1.  You realize of course that wherever this group shows up, anyone wearing a sundress will make a fast exit.
2.  That's not a bar, it's a playground. I'll take Moe's over m.
3.  Then you won't be disappointed that there is no beer garden.
4.  Fine.

Actually, I'll drink anywhere, anytime.

We took over Mullen's several times in 2009.

Sort of.

Is it "taking over" when nobody is there to begin with?

I'm pretty sure I was there playing cornhole for 8 hours one fine Sunday afternoon/evening.

The parking lot at Mullen's is large enough to accomodate a vinegar truck.

Oh.  I wondered who Hendry was going to bring in this year to play second base.
