Did anyone watch the Swedes play the Germans last night?  I watched alot of Forsberg and it makes sense why he is no longer in the NHL.  Slow as molasses is he.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

Nice to see Ken Hitchcock has been eating away his sorrows after getting fired from Columbus. What a fat fuck.

Here in Canadaland, the pre-Olympic expectations were that your northern neighbors would win the most medals.

Like typical cannucks, nobody seems at all upset that The Plan isn't unfolding the way they'd hoped.  Everybody I've spoken to is thrilled with how Canada is playing.  And that's why this country will always be the home of losers.*

That's just because their pre-Olympic expectations were unrealistic.

No, because I don't want an otherwise good thread succumbing to your narcissistic desires.

If there's another game as good as this Canada-Switzerland game, I'm going to be tickled.

Lets trade the Frenchy for Hiller.

I think that Hiller would be a solid upgrade over Huet...but I'm not sure what the Hawks could offer that would justify the deal.

Granted, I can't specifically recall when I've watched Hiller play beyond the solid game he had at the UC a month or two ago. And I recall he showed up in the playoffs last year. But I don't see much in these numbers to get me excited enough to want to see the Hawks make some sort of blockbuster move:

Season
        Record      GAA     SV%    SV/G
Hiller  26-17-2    2.70    .919    29.3
Huet    24-11-4    2.29    .903    20.6
Niemi   17-4-1     2.16    .913    21.9

Career
        Record      GAA     SV%    SV/G
Hiller  59-39-4    2.46    .920    26.1
Huet    127-87-32  2.42    .915    24.4
Niemi   18-5-2     2.28    .908    21.3

Considering the Ducks just traded Giguere and got Toskala back in return, they've gone all-in on Hiller as their long-term solution.

So stop this right now.

I don't know what this thread has been degrading to, but it looks like ice stick soccer.  Anyway, I had dinner with some friends and they had the Winter Olympics on their TV box.  We watched some of the women's snowboarding in that half pipe thing.  I know there's absolutely no way I could pull off anything they do, but for Olympic athletes these broads sure did FAIL a lot.
