If you haven't seen this film yet, you're sad and I pity you. It's a fine, fine movie.

"Plummer, in 1999, "contributed" 1,017 fewer yards to the Cardinals than the league average QB would have brought to the table. As far as modern seasons go, Plummer's '99 stands as the worst."

Yeah, it was pretty damn good. Leo is worth his money, no doubt.

After The Departed, Blood Diamond, and now this, it's hard to argue that he's not in the top tier. He was outstanding, I thought Ben Kingsley and Mark Ruffalo were awesome as well, and Michelle Williams was absolutely terrifying at the end. The cinematagrophy was perfect and the score was outstanding. The pounding motif they used at the beginning and throughout the movie really sticks with you. Scorcese is at the top of his game these days.

I don't know.  That thread had this:

I heard this movie was called Fart Party IX: Boner's Revenge.

I read both threads.  I think that there are, in fact, two different movies.

Saw it last night and all I can say is "Wait, what?"  I did like it, though.  Leo is a damn fine actor.

I thought it was really well made. I felt like I was going crazy toward the end and wondered if I could know if I was crazy. HOW WOULD I KNOW?!? HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?!? I'm still not convinced that those goddamned McCarthy fascists didn't set Daniels up.

Oh, yeah.  THIS.  But, the wiki page says otherwise.  I know what you mean, though.  Great film.

Well, since Chuck D inserted the spoiler, I'll just say that the look on Michelle William's face when she said the thing about her school being in session on Saturdays after she drowned the kids MAY have caused me to piss myself in terror. May have.

I dislike her but she was excellent in this movie. Damn the more I think about it, the better it gets.
