In answer to your question, yes. Yes, it was very good. Great production value, the main character is likable, and I actually felt bad for zombies for the first time. This is a DVR keeper for sure.

I was wondering if anyone would get the the point. Thanks. Yeah, all of what you said. I think Morgan (?) is a strong character as well but I still keep picturing him as the guy from Jericho. They've built up a ton of interest with the guy's wife and his partner already bumping it. Pretty excellent intro.
