"Linda Kozlowski's Aged Posterior" might make a great name for a band, hipster or otherwise.

It's long been yolked with the Metro.  Metro has long been a venue with a diverse array of musical acts, many of which might be considered alternative.  Hipsters listen to alternative music.  It's science.

This is pretty stupid even for you.

Whatever.  I'm not talking to you until you apologize for erroneously calling me a ghey when I was defending you.

We are brothers united in the ability to chub up at the sight of L-Koz's butt cheeks. Sorry about that.

But yeah the only people that go to music shows are hipsters and anti-establishment jerkoffs.

Real people enjoy music like this, hipsters enjoy music like that.

I swear on Linda Kozlowski's aged posterior that people were calling The Fray a hipster band during their botching of the national anthem on Monday night.

What are they?

Lite FM linchpins.

The Fray are like jars of clay, without the rock.

I would support that show of emotion, perhaps second it.

I just called Mrs. Butthead into the room with the promise of showing her the greatest thing ever. She was not as impressed as I was.

Just booked my accommodation, back at Dewitt Place.  Thought I'd mention it for those of you who are asked by friends for recommendations - this place is, for a certain sort of traveller, completely fucking unbeatable.  I've just paid $840, all-in, for seven nights room only within about a hundred yards of the Hancock.  The room is a little basic but everything's clean and working, and there's airco, cable telly, a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge, and most important of all, free wi-fi.  At a push, the room could sleep 4 (the couch folds out into a double) and for around $120 a night, I defy you to find better value for money in the whole of Chicago, let alone right downtown.  Why the hell this place isn't booked out on an ongoing basis, I have no idea.  Worth bearing in mind, anyway.

In other news, I fucking love Chicago and can not wait for this trip.

I'm thinking that I'm going to do a Wrigley tour on Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd August.  Anybody fancy coming with me?
