I just saw that Cleigh Matthews did NOT win Defensive Player of the Year. That's fucking awesome. Who won? Fuck if I know. Who cares?

He lost by two votes to Polamalu. Peppers and Urlacher were 4th and 5th.

"Plummer, in 1999, "contributed" 1,017 fewer yards to the Cardinals than the league average QB would have brought to the table. As far as modern seasons go, Plummer's '99 stands as the worst."

Not eight weeks after Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler's manliness was called into question after a playoff injury against the eventual Super Bowl champions, tipster Jeff S. forwards this "gem" of a photo from his days at Vanderbilt. It was Halloween 2005 when tough-guy and BMOC quarterback and pal disguised themselves as a pair of those soft treats called Twinkies. Not that there's anything wrong with that, bros.

Someone should have told him he wasn't allowed to have fun in college.

He's smiling in that picture, and that's still not good enough for them! I guess Favre is the only QB allowed to have fun.

Should Jay Cutler have waited a full 9 weeks before (probably) not being aware that Deadspin posted a 2005 Halloween picture of him dressed up with some other dude and smiling? How long should someone wait to not send Deadspin a picture of himself from 5 or 6 years ago? Will Cutler be able to live this down?
