Since the Dodgers' bankruptcy will make the Phoenix Coyotes situation look like an amicable, clean situation, let's use this thread to let Chuck and anyone else with their $.02 (which is 2 cents more than what a bankrupt club has) chime in.

Between the Dodgers, the Cubs (briefly and maybe again), the Mets, the Texas Rangers, the Coyotes, a myriad of NBA and NHL franchises, the BK lawyers should be busy. Gil, you picked the wrong area of law.

Anyways, will the Dodgers make payroll Thursday? Where will Ted Lilly hide the bodies of the McCourts if they don't?

And how many people are waxing their members furiously at any mention of moving the Dodgers back to Brooklyn?

I assume the Brooklynites are waxing their ironic mustaches these days.

Theodore R. Lilly is No. 6  on the list of unsecured creditors after Manny Ramirez, Andruw Jones, Hiroki Kuroda, Rafael Furcal, and the Chicago White Sox, who are owed money to pay Juan Pierre's salary.

Nice choice, Ken.

They still owe Marquis Grissom $2.7 M and he hasn't played for them since 2002.

Kaz Ishii was definitely worth the money, though.
