I hate agreeing with Dubbs, clearly, but this was actually a very nice little film. John C. Reilly was indeed steakballtits, and Ed Helms and Anne Heche were also good value. Not Earth-shattering, but well worth watching.

Some sample quotes (all from Reilly):

Also, I think it means I'm getting old and/or desperate, but Anne Heche was actually kind of hot. I think it was the red hair. And possibly the plastic surgery. Oh, and Maeby Bluth utters the memorable line "You can fuck me in the ass if you want." which - I'm not going to lie - firmed me up a little.

It's scary how perfect this summary is. Heche looked surprisingly good.

I know it was the dumbest joke in the movie, and it wasn't exactly a surprise since it was all over the commercials, but Reilly in that garbage can lid helmet cracked me up.

I'm going to cross the border here and stand with Dubbs. Both of those films are funny. I'm also glad that this is a free, open space where my feelings about possibly being attracted to Anne Heche in that film aren't dirty and wrong.

Are you comparing the style of humor of Anchorman with Cedar Rapids? Whether or not I think either one of them are funny, they have completely different tones. It's like comparing Rushmore to Kingpin, except that both of those movies are actually funny.
