And just because it was absurd and deserves to be seen 1,000 more times, the resulting Rose floater:

He's just lucky it wasn't a free throw.

I'm happy the bulls won, that rose was dominant. But last night made me think back to the miami series, when the rose's teammates just stood around waiting for rose to do something at the end of the game. I know Rip's minutes are being watched, but would have been nice to see him out there at the end of the game.

He's a rotation guy and as his minutes increase, I think you'll see a nice flow to the offense when he's in. But vs. Miami, the problem will remain that LeBron can guard Rose one-on-one and there is nobody reliable for him to pass to if he's not double-teamed. If Rip were the Rip of old then, hey, bonertime. But alas. I could be wrong about this and Rip could bury a last-second jumper deep into the center of my man-tits in the conference finals. At that point, "FYA" yourselves into oblivion and call it a weekend.

No, you are correct. LeBron on Rose = series. That's going to be the first huge issue for the Bulls. The second is who the hell is going to guard Bosh? Make all your Bosh jokes. He was pretty effective in the series last year.

I don't see how the Bulls get past Miami. Good news is they're probably better than everyone else. Though Philly looked pretty slick at times. Good for them for putting together a nice team. Some of Jrue Holliday's passes were brilliant.

I don't see how the Bulls get past Miami.

Two ways:

1. A healthy Rip who can handle 30 minutes a night.
2. Carlos Boozer can play like a real, above-average NBA post player for an entire series.

I'm in. Sunday's at Michael's (Broadway and Belle Plaine) are good for Hoops and pie. Guiness is passable.

I like how you just came back to ridicule yourself.

Also, based on the callers into Boers and Bernstein, if the Bulls just somehow eliminate Chris Bosh they can win.

Like with a sniper or something?

He's so fucking awful at sports. It sucks that you have to hope and pray that he'll turn back into a real, above-average post player for 4-7 games when he can't even do it for 4-7 plays. His contract and Noah's contract combined really ought to be enough to get a G.M. shitcanned. Now, Noah doesn't suck right now, despite previous long stretches of ineptitude. But at his best, he's not earning that contract. You just have to, "Deal with it." Which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to deal with Boozer. Two summers ago, the Bulls got none of the players they wanted and they got so depressed that they took a shit ton of money and hurled it at that heaping pile of dung. If I still hated the Bulls I'd laugh really loud and keep pointing that fact out to you guys.

But I've moved on.
