somewhat apropos of this thread...I heard on WBBM-AM, in the wee hours of the morning the other day, that Tommy Lasorda fell or had a heart attack or some shit and got pre-emptively ANGRY at whomever was going to start a thread on his mortal departure (I pictured Fork, D'UR). We have rules, people. There will be plenty of opportunities to properly note Tommy's passing; just a public service reminder to a) wait until the fucker's dead and b) wait until you know you've got a good kickoff when the opportunity presents itself to you.
