Holy crap - we haven't posted in the "Beer" thread for four years?  What have we been doing with our lives?

I thought Magic Hat #9 was ghastly, if that helps.

Couldn't agree more Wheezer.
Had it this past weekend, tried 2 bottles on Saturday and figured to be fair I'd give it another chance on Sunday.

I gave the remaining 3 bottles away.
Apricots. Guh.

I drank lots and lots of beer last night.  It's not important what kind.

Try the Pyramid apricot before dismissing the notion entirely. The cyanide overtones from the pits do come out if it's not cold enough, though.

DPD. I'm willing to declare the Leinenkugel's "Summer Shandy" a perfectly acceptable budget choice for swampy weather.

The "Raspberry Weiss" remains a simple invitation to overwhelming fruit-fly infestation.

Summer Shandy is good. Stiegl Radler is the same type of beer and is a lot better.

That's the Leinenkugel one, right?  I like that one, too.

In reference to Pen's Sam Adam's Cream Stout, I've never had it.  But, I'll keep an eye out.  Thanks for the head's up.

I had my first Paulener Hefe this past weekend.  I don't know if that means I've been living under a rock or not or if it's popular, but I enjoyed it and picked up a sixer the next day.  Also good were the Delerium Tremens and Warsteiner Dunkel.

That's the stuff made with Lemonade, right?

Very surprised to hear it's good, but pleased nonetheless.

Is it like "1-2 at most" good or "I can drink these all day" good?

Stop this right now.  Summer Shandy is terrible.  You're better off drinking Mike's Hard Lemonade.
