OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Luther
« on: January 28, 2015, 02:47:03 PM »
I started this last night.  Anyone with any experience?  I found Ep 1 to be good-not-great.  The story was pretty standard and they oversold the "twist" so as to make it obvious for the viewer far earlier than it was for Luther.

Elba needs a haircut, too.

It's really bleak. I liked all of what I saw but I was in Norway bored out of my fucking skull so take that with a grain of salt.

Did they not have an internet connection there or something?

The cop stuff was pretty standard, some interesting cases and characters all getting wrapped up tidily per episode in season one. The shots of London were attractive enough. But the storyline about his personal problems was insufferable. I just didn't give a flying shit. That's all I remember. I wanted to like this very badly since I carry around a Wire chub big enough to fill old Soldier Field, but alas I fucking hated it and wanted it to die in a fire.
The 39th Tenet of Pexism: True in the game as long as blood is blue in my vein.

They did but they didn't have actual places to go to.
