Kimmo was old and bad, but I can't get enough of reading about him finally getting the cup

Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

5 Western Conference Finals appearances in 7 years and now 3 cups in 6, let's hope in 6-8 years we'll basically be saying the same thing about the Cubs.

Save percentages by round against the Tampa Bay Lightning:

1st - Peter Mrazek/Jimmy Howard - .924
2nd - Carey Price - .896
3rd - Henrik Lundqvist - .902
4th - Corey Crawford - .926 .938

Not an elite goalie.

Final tally'ed.

Brian Hedger, who gets all his information directly from the Hawks' front office, says Sharp is gone in the next week.

Which everyone figured anyway.

The big surprise seems to be Brad Richards being willing to take another cheapie contract to keep looking to his right and seeing Patrick Kane.

As is well documented, I don't give any shits about hockey, but I have no idea how you guys do this all the time.

Seems like every single Blackhawks playoff game goes at least 1 overtime and the entire time is completely anxiety-filled, non-stop action.

I can only assume you use each period/overtime break to chase down 5 joints with a bottle of Valium.

You people are insane.

We got a pretty good payoff though.

Adding in that getting Mike Reilly (supposedly he's down to the Hawks and Wild) means next year's blue line will have 3 guys with a combined 9 Stanley Cups and 3 guys with a combined 22 games in the NHL (Reilly, Johns, Van Reimsdyk).

Intrepid Reader Joel Quenneville: Yeah, sure Fork, we'll definitely be starting the season with what amounts to 3 rookie defensemen in the lineup.
