Watching Ed Helms trying to get everyone else to do his job for him hit a little too close to home for me, but at least he redeemed himself in the end.

Was the rest of this last episode as awful as the first 90 second suggested it would be? I deleted it pretty quickly.

This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

It got worse after that.

It got worse after that. I'm trying to remember what it was about, and I can't. I know I have the interwebs at my fingerstubs, but one would think I could remember a not horrible episode only 4 days after watching it.

I thought Spader might keep it decent, and I still think he was a fantastic addition. But, yeah, the entire show was a Steve Carrell vehicle, and now there's no one driving it.

I thought last night was enjoyable, and its no coincidence that we had a decent amount of Robert California.
Also, Creed was fantastic in his two small parts.

I missed most of it. Would you say it was above the line?

It's like a mix of "trying too hard" and "mailing it in". I keep telling myself that I still watch it because, although not at its peak, it's still better than most of the sitcoms on tv. I'm pretty sure I don't believe me.

I thought James Spader was going to ruin the show, but he's really the one character keeping it somewhat interesting.

I like that Pam's not there. She talks too loud nowadays. It's unattractive. She needs to be the mousy receptionist again.

I thought this episode was pretty good. I liked Stanley's rant at the beginning. I liked the Jim/Dwight stuff. I liked that there was no Pam. I liked Creed. I REALLY liked the warehouse guy. I think he was Dwight's assistant last season or something. His face when he says words makes me laugh.

I'm still stuck getting through the last couple of episodes from last yer, with Will Ferrell. Can I assume it'd still be worth my time to catch up? I've always liked James Spader.

I actually don't know if you can assume that. It's been pretty hit or miss this season. It's been better lately because Pam's not on there. She left Jim because she said he hit her. That was actually a pretty dark episode, but Creed and Kevin had some pretty funny stuff in it.
