This is one of the funniest things I've seen tonight:

http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/1704331/

It reminds of Dwight's speech to his fellow salesmen ... women.

It also reminds of the Burroughs cut-up technique -- is using those words in, y'know, the right order?  And the random baby crying and train whistle blowing just add to this oddity.  Well worth a watch.

All right, just ran across this.  I'm a huge sap, so it got me excited for the new season.  If you're not into the Jim/Pam saga, don't bother:

Salesmen of north-eastern Pennsylvania, I ask you once more rise and be worthy of this historical hour.

Awww, I'm a sucker for romance.

Has anyone watched the web shorts they were supposed to do? Any good?

They're not very funny.  They focus mostly on the supporting cast, who are secondary characters for a reason.

Can't wait.  The season starts now, so it's September and we're three months past the Roy-Pam wedding date.  So it's obvious that those two called it off because how could you miss out on a chance to do an episode of Michael and Dwight turned loose at a wedding reception?

So no gig for Scrantonicity?

The conference room scene was absolutely hysterical.  The looks on people's faces ... wow.  Just great.

Wow.  Tear-inducing funny, with heaps of excuses to lay off the great-but-potentially-series-killing Pam/Jim thing.

They did a nice job on this in the first episode. Basically almost nothing. Perfect.

And I was howling at the TV tonight. Dogs were woken up in my hood.
