I'm assuming it's some Lane Tech-Gordon Tech rivalry thing from the 1800s.

And now I'm just wondering how a kid from Uptown was ever passing Gordon Tech while riding on the 152 to
or from Lane.
Answer
that, Brian Williams.
Also, is it baseball season yet?

Still no. Hurry up, dammit.
Anyone going to spring training games?

The start of spring training is such a tease. So much initial excitement and then a slow 18-month grind until Opening Day.

45 days until the Cubs are supposed to open at Wrigley Field. Drove past the park Saturday and noticed that the whole Clark St. side of the ballpark from Waveland to Addison is pretty much inaccessible with a large hole in the ground from where Yum Yum Donuts was to the outer wall of the park. Seriously, will they move the games to Busch Stadium, Miller Park, or Comiskular?

So, they broke ground on the clubhouse. Nice.
"Cubs attorney Andrew Kassof denied the Cubs were attempting to create an illegal monopoly over rooftop pricing, telling the judge that the "the point is to renovate Wrigley Field to generate revenues to make a better product, get better players on the field and win a World Series."
Who knew that what was keeping the Cubs from getting into and winning a World Series was the lack of advertising signs in the Park? All this time I thought it was their insane prejudice against goats.

These rooftops are accusing the Cubs of attempting to create an "illegal monopoly" over access to their own product?

They should just play in the hole.
Right Field Sucks. (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/ct-wrigley-field-tour-spt-0303-20150302-story.html)
Also, temporary concessions and portapotties in the left field/3b side of the concourse.
And, has Crane Kenney been "reassigned" within the organization?

While it is merely spring training, could the team *maybe* try and win one game soon? I mean, good 'em for the tie... whatever that means in baseball.
