So Vedder, Chelios, Cusack and Pat Kane were at Stanley's this week. I've heard about all kinds of celebrities going there. Word is they've got a secret room downstairs they hang out in. I don't understand why this bar is so popular for these assholes. I remember back in '03 that all the Cubs players used to go there as well. I think that it was mainly because Alou had a condo right by there - but that doesn't really explain why the phenomenon continues.

Also, the one time I was there I saw Toni, the crazy, muscular bitch from FOX reality show Paradise Hotel. She scares me.

I digress - does anyone know anything about this secretive room? Does it exist? Is the bar owned by an athlete? Help.

Does anyone else fully realize that Kerry Wood may finally get a ring? I don't hate the Yankees at all but for those of you who do, I'd hope you'd put the hatred aside and lend your begrudging support to see Kerry get himself a championship. The man deserves it. May he strikeout every batter he faces for the rest of the year.

Even Fork can get a boner over this. Entire CHL (WHL, OHL and QMJHL) will be included in NHL 11. All 60 teams, stadiums, players and league structures including the Memorial Cup. This will be integrated with the franchise mode as well making drafting that much better. Holy fuckballs.

It's a start. Nothing about making the game Weebs proof but I can't see that ever happening. We have a guy in our league that rolls out on every play and hits the same WR on a crossing pattern every time and there's not a thing anyone can do to stop it.

Did anyone else play this game? Rented it from Gamefly and I'm at the last battle with Joker. Easily one of the best/coolest games I've ever played. The fighting system is incredible when you finally learn that it doesn't pay to button mash. When you land a huge combo the action is insane. The Scarecrow stuff was also ultra-creepy and very well done. Batman looks like an absolute badass or basically the direct opposite of what George Clooney looked like as Batman.

Fantastic game.
