Will anyone watch this at all?

I will, but that's because I'm an idiot
I only have to endure one more week of watching the Cardinals and I can jump on the Saints bandwagon.
So I've got that going for me.
My wish for 2012?

Easily the most obnoxious celebration in the NFL. And he looks like a jackass since his team blows. Great stuff.
Urlacher out of the game after defending a pass. Left knee heavily wrapped as he walked to the locker room. Yikes.

Major Wright is no good at everything.
Sprained MCL for Urlacher according to Lovie Smith after the game.

Too bad. I guess that finishes him for the season.

If Jay Cutler was more of a leader Urlacher would have known not to leave the sidelines with his team fighting for a .500 finish.
Prescient as ever. (http://firejerryangelo.org/2012/01/02/for-the-bears-this-offseason-changes-must-be-made-but-wont-be/)
See ya, Jerry. You were never as bad as most people thought. You also weren't very good either. Adios.
And fuck Mike Martz.
Actually, provided that the new GM isn't some lackey like Ruskell, this is the best possible scenario. If the team is trying to win now (which it should be, given their QB and star RB are both in their prime), they can't fire Lovie and blow up a defense that's completely geared toward playing one style of defense, but they also need someone to take over personnel control and actually decide that an investment on the offensive side of the ball makes more sense than devoting all of their attention to the defense and hoping Cutler and Forte can piece together an offense of spare parts. If this keeps Lovie from making personnel decisions regarding his favorites or whatever, great. Now hire someone from New Orleans, Green Bay, or Houston to run that offense and get a god damn wide receiver.

Well, shit.
Although I'm guessing this isn't a move to give Lovie more personnel control. He might even wind up with less. I'm guessing the main reason he stayed is that he's owed more money? And because it's easier to blame a GM than a coach for injuries.
Lovie to be coach/GM
