What is it with Mariotti's obsession about men being naked?  More than once he has brought up Dempster having streaked down Lincoln Avenue in the offseason.  Not only does nobody give a flying fuck, but it has nothing to do with his pitching and, last I checked, Mariotti's paid to cover sports.  And now he pens 1,000 words so that he can wax nostalgic about Lee the Elder flashing his wang.

If Jay's gay, there's nothing wrong with that, but it sure would explain a lot.  Self-loathing homosexual makes a career in irrationally lashing out at pro athletes.  Things that make you go "Hmm" indeed.

He's on the verge of capturing the April Triple Crown.  As of today, he leads the NL in HR/RBI/BA.

Didn't he express a desire to play in LA because he's Jewish?  And, if this is the case, then why is he so reticent about playing in NY?

I live near Albany Park, although it's not quite the Jewish enclave that it was in the 40's and 50's, if it meant getting rid of Sam Me, I'd be the first in line to chauffer him around town.  More appropriately, perhaps, I could take him on a tour of Skokie, Buffalo Grove etc.
