With Pope Benedict announcing his resignation, the Cardinals will depart Jupiter, Fla., Louisville, Ky., Muncie, Ind., and Glendale, Ariz., and convene at the Vatican to elect a new Pope. Several leading candidates have been mentioned, including Marc Ouellet of Canada, Francis Arinze of Nigeria, and Ghana's Peter Turkson (Peter the Roman!?!?!?!).

While we wait for the divine wisdom of Adam Wainwright, Mike Shannon, Rick Pitino and Kevin Kolb to make a decision, we can maybe do our part to get the white smoke going. Cast your vote today and we'll do our part to lobby the right people.

Huey, how can you forget St. Peter, aka the Apostle Simon Peter, born Shimon or Simeon? Hell, he wanted to keep the Christian Club an all-Jewish Club and he could have kept it t that way if not for a son of devout Jewish parents-turned Roman hired gun Saul, who while persecuting Christians, converted to Christianity and renamed himself Paul and hoped that one day they could name a city after him and that it would be the capital of Minnesota and home to hard-to-watch professional hockey.
