OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I'm not superstitious, I'm just a littlestitious.

The enitre Brewers bullpen is really quite magical. You not only have the daily performances by Turd Throw, but also command performances every so often by Brian Shouse and Francisco Cordero.
#3
I positive Turd Throw.

I positive Ted Lilly.

Matt Capps with the save.

Pirates win and your Brewers player of the game is... who else, Derrick Turnbow. Take a bow Derrick.

7-4 Pirates. Way to go Turd Throw.

Turnbow shitting his pants.

Pirates with a 5-4 lead, 2 on 1 out, bot 8.

EG, I'll proudly pick up that positive flag if your head gets taken off by a cannonball.

Thanks.  Funny thing is, I live near some pirates and that nearly happened as I was getting in my car for work yesterday morning.

That's not funny.  That's almost Hancock-tragic.

Something like that would put everything in perspective.

Everyone get off the ledge.  Leave BC on his own out there.  The Cubs will be fine.  Tonight they face some turd named Phil Dumatrait, who is letting people hit .395 off him this year.  And we've got Ted Lilly going.  He's going to murder the Reds.  8-1 Cubs win.

EG obviously doesn't realize the apparent hittability of the Reds' pitcher means Yellon will probably get his precious Cubs-getting-no-hit game tonight.

I'm TRYING to be optimistic here.

It's my duty to stamp out all optimism before it gets out of hand.

The Cubs have been doing that for the last couple of weeks too.

I feel my optimism beginning to shift to a particular team currently practicing in Bourbonnais.

It's apparent that the Brewers will not win the division.  They've folded up like a cheap suit.  The Cubs have been struggling for two weeks, but the Brewers have been doing it three times that long.  If the Cubs don't sack it up and start winning then, yeah, the Cardinals might actually win it.  But they're not very good.  At all.  They're a .500 team at best.  We honestly could be looking at a season when 79 wins gets you into the playoffs.  Woof.

And how the hell does Fontenot's ball not at least hit the wall?  If it does that it's tied because Felix was almost to third when the ball was caught.

By the way, guess what fueled the big six run rally for the Cardinals last night in Milwaukee?

Another Ryan Braun error.  Holy shit is that guy a basket case in the field.  How can you have the hand eye coordination to absolutely mash a baseball but a complete inability to catch or throw it?

He appears to be DH material already.

Yes, nothing quite like seeing the Cubs and Brewers plummet back toward the bad side of .500 as the Cardinals fall ass backward into contention.

I wish the bartender would take this song off the jukebox. Is BC the bartender? Your jukebox sucks.

I'm not sure what's worse, watching what you have described here, or BC's driving of the Cardinals bandwagon. Maybe it's time for BC to have a long savory glass of wine and head over to Viva El Fuckwads, where he apparently belongs.

QuoteCatcher Johnny Estrada and manager Ned Yost nearly tangled in a dugout tunnel late in Thursday's 12-4 loss to the New York Mets, the Brewers' 10th defeat in 14 games.

When the half-inning ended, Estrada and Yost got into a heated dispute in the tunnel leading from the dugout to the clubhouse. Infielder Tony Graffanino stepped between them as other players milled around.

Damn. If Yost kicks dirt on an ump tomorrow the Brewers will begin their comeback.

Unless, the Brewers also trade Estrada away in addition to these events I'm not worried.

I can forgive the guy for running on to the field to attack Myers. After all,  Myers was for shit in his final season with the Cubs, and kept giving up big hits as an undeserving Cubs team fought to stay alive.

No, I don't have a problem with that.  It's the Red Sox lettering that makes my sack itch.  What could possibly be going through this douchebag's head other than "I'm a giant douchebag.  Red Sox font.  Douchebag.  Me."?

Since I pretty much hate all things Red Sox, that does it for me too.

Cubs in first place. Yay!

BC's Cardinals lost. Yay!
