Should I be worried about him?

Depends on what your initial expectations were.

Should I be worried about him? His OBP has been on a downward trend for a couple years now and power numbers are down from last year's improvement.

He's currently 11th in OBP and 10th in OPS among all MLB shortstops. So I wouldn't worry just yet.

I think that's the problem. My expectations for Starlin were too high - something like an extended prime where he was a top 3 shortstop every year. At this point a top 10 SS is probably more realistic and probably not worth having a sad over.

Since he's still only 23, I don't think your original expectations are outside the reaalm of feasibility yet. Especially once there's enough other guys around him to the point where he knows the offense doesn't have to fall to him or Rozzi every day.

Yeah, that's not a real thing.

When's Rozzi going to start hitting?

Hopefully after Slorer, Beza, Amlaro, Vobelgach and other reinforcements get here.

I mean they can't keep depending on guys like Vulbeana, DuJeses, Sariono, Costalli, Bernay, and such.

Don't worry, Suvem will whip 'em into shape.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

One hopes he'll let the kids play and not stick with the veteran dudes like Bournob and Solzenicyn like Datsyuk would have.

You were the one who told us he was the next Garry Templeton, so I don't know why you expected Barry Larkin.

As it is, he's the best all-around SS the Cubs have had since Banks.
