Title: Rolling Stoned
Post by: Quality Start Machine on September 15, 2011, 10:05:45 AM
Andrew Loog Oldham's follow-up to "Stoned" - HBO is making a "Stoned" miniseries.

Where "Stoned" is basically Loog's observations on the British pop scene, this one is more about the Stones. It's a great companion piece to Keef's book.

If Mick ever bothered to write a book, it would never be this open. These books really provide a lot of context for the music of the era.

I hope they left out the garbage better known as anything post-exile on mainstreet.

If you have SiriusXM you should check out Oldhams's show in the morning drive time plus he has a weekend show.  He is on Little Steven's Underground Garage channel.
