Title: Schrödinger’s Corpse
Post by: J. Walter Weatherman on January 10, 2016, 08:17:47 PM
December 26: Country singer Craig Strickland and his friend Chase Morland go missing in the midst of severe winter storms (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_December_2015_North_American_storm_complex) on an ill-advised (https://twitter.com/ChaseMorland/status/680987168018268160) duck hunting trip

December 28: Morland's body found and the search for Strickland temporarily suspended until the new year (http://5newsonline.com/2015/12/28/search-for-missing-backroad-anthem-singer-to-resume-new-years-day/)

December 30: PenFoe revises his Death List to insert Strickland at the #1 spot

January 4: Strickland's body found, a quarter of a mile from where Morland was found (http://www.inquisitr.com/2685291/craig-strickland-country-singers-widow-opens-up-about-husbands-death/)

January 6: PenFoe cites the "Fidel rule" in his favor, misremembering exactly what that means (http://hje.me/ci/sbox/day/2010/1/6/p101389220#p101389220)

I'll abide by official death certificate for this one, but I'm not backing down on Jahi McMath.

Even assuming they pull life support (and the family doesn't seem to be terribly urgent to do so), that'll be one for the courts to decide.

Until further notice (http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2015/12/23/jahi-mcmaths-familys-fight-to-rescind-death-certificate-moves-to-federal-court/), she's been dead since 2013.

Quote from: helenelizabethstricklandCraig was found today. We can finally rest knowing that he is at Home in Heaven with his Father. The night of the accident he had fought his way out of the water and up a hill before the stages of hypothermia set in. He experienced no pain in his final moments and simply felt like he was falling asleep. They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father.

Whoa. I hadn't read that tweet the first time. Is that the most ironic (in the dramatic sense) tweet yet?

The author didn't intend to be ironic when they wrote it, but it became ironic because of what happened to the subject (who happened to be the author).

What is that, like ... meta tragic irony?

God bless you, Internet.

This is conjecture.  I'm still holding out for a death certificate.

There were points on the line!

Also, that gravestone is purposely carved into the shape of the state of Arkansas.

Why is she so happy in that photo? Maybe she's the real killer.
