(eyes pissing tears)

I seriously got a little misty-eyed watching that again.  That was balls out.  I fucking love Kerry Wood and will never - NEVER, I say - hear a word said against him.  At the risk of getting all meatball-y, the kid needs to stay with the club in some capacity.

EDIT: I've just been reminded of how fucking beside myself with excitement I was when he came back from Tommy John disease.  And then hit one out of the park himself.

I was at that game, and Ronnie Woo Woo was shaking everyone's hand as they walked out the El turnstiles and declaring that we were all going to "see history" that day. I guess I reacted to an extended hand without thinking who it was and shook it. Then I felt gross all game because I shook Ronnie's gross homeless person hand. Kerry's homer was cool.

Never heard the 'Stros feed on that before. Nice. Remind me to send some Smoque BBQ to Jerry Meals' hotel room next time he's in town. The man is a saint. It always looks like he's enjoying it as much as we were. I half-expect him to do the Frank Drebin after a couple of those calls.

EDIT: That was my world series. If I never see one. Fuck it. I saw that.

If you buy the game on iTunes, you get the away broadcast. Better than listening to Mr. Line Drive Base Hit Caught Out There.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

I have a CD with Pat and Ron's call on it somewhere. It's enough to make a common Huey jump up and click his heels together.

But you miss looking at his sweater that not even Cliff Huxtable would wear.

Thanks Pen, now we all know who Cliff Huxtable is and what his sweaters look like.  What would we do without you?

I think I get the idea of what a Huxtable sweater looks like. But I could use a few more examples just to be sure.

I'm assuming it's a just a knit garment draped over a black guy?

I couldn't find any photos of Chip Carey in a sweater and it just felt like TIME TO POST.
